It is an honour when an author entrusts me with her or his novel.
Among authors, manuscripts are often likened to "babies," and it takes a special kind of courage to offer that baby up for close scrutiny.
When I send the finished product back, when I lay it gently in the author's arms, it is my responsibility to ensure they are thrilled with how it has grown while it was in my care.
I have been fortunate. I have had the opportunity to edit dozens of wonderful novels, of all different genres, from all over the world. I love working with good books and am committed to helping make them great.

I'm a reader, a writer, and an editor.
My first two novels, Under the Same Sky and Sound of the Heart, were published in 2012 by Berkley Sensation / Penguin US.
Berkley Sensation will be publishing the third in the series, Somewhere to Dream, in November 2013.
I am honoured to be represented by Literary Agent extraordinaire, Jacques de Spoelberch.
My family and I live in a quiet town on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia where I write, edit, and teach piano to the neighbourhood kids. I have a Bachelor of Music in Performance degree (oboe), a Black Belt (in Chito Ryu karate), and a decade of working in advertising/marketing/promotions.
I love to read just about anything, as long as it's written with passion.
I enjoy helping other authors with their work. Do you need help with yours?
