"Genevieve is an editor with the Midas touch!"
John Campbell
"Walk to Paradise Garden"

"Ms. Graham's editorial services exceeded my expectations in every way. With an eye on the current market and an ear for each writer's unique style and particular intentions, she is able to suggest revisions that honor artistic vision but anticipate appeal to an audience. She rewrote the synopses and query letters for my novel, and after reading her versions, even I was interested in the book I have read so many times!  She is prompt and responsive and presents materials with the utmost professionalism. I will be happy to recommend her editorial services whenever the opportunity arises."
Mary Vensel White

Send me a few pages of your work, and I'll send you a free sample of what I would do with them.

I can't promise you'll get published. I can't promise you a Literary Agent. But I can promise your work will sparkle when I'm done. I have a rock solid reputation for doing just that.

If you are ready to send me your work,

Line Copy Edits and Proofreading
I'm a stickler when it comes to punctuation, spelling, tenses, typos, run-on sentences and formatting. As I go through a manuscript I'll naturally work with clarification, plot, character development, dialogue and other important aspects. In many cases, a novel needs more than simple grammatical corrections. It often calls for added colour and flow (among other things), which can result in a dramatic re-working. The trick is to ensure the editor captures your voice and keeps it there. Your voice is the core of your work.
  • Novellas and Novels 90 pages or more:  $4.50 per page * (plus tax if applicable***)
  • Line Copy Edits under 90 pages: $400 minimum project fee ** (plus tax if applicable***)
** This applies to Children's books, Picture books, Short Stories, etc. Any pages over 90 will be billed $5.50 per page. This process, depending on the length of the work, usually takes up to thirty days.
All fees are based on standard industry format of 8.5" x 11", 12 pt Times Roman type, double spaced, 1" margins.

Professional Critique
This is a full breakdown of your novel, including a professional analysis of Structure, Plot, Characterization, Setting, Grammar/Punctuation, and a short example of how editing would help your novel.

  • Professional Critique under 90 pages: $300 minimum project fee * (plus tax if applicable***)
* This applies to Children's books, Picture books, Short Stories, etc. Any pages over 90 will be billed $4.50 per page. This process, depending on the length of the work, usually takes up to one week.

Literary Agent Submission package:
  • $600 flat rate (plus tax if applicable***)
You've spent all this time, trouble and money ensuring your work reads perfectly. Now what? Many people, including me, believe this next step is way harder than writing your actual book. Let me help. I will make sure you have everything you need in a package that shouldn't land in the slush pile. You will receive three different length synopses (for fiction submissions), and five personalized query letters addressed to literary agents I have researched.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I will provide you with tools so you can go forward in your search on your own. You can spend piles of cash buying books on learning how to query, how to refine methods, or you could learn firsthand from me. As with everything in life, there is no success guaranteed in terms of finding an agent, but I can promise you will learn from me. Before I learned how to put together a proper Literary Agent Submission package, I received dozens of rejections. After I put one together I got another 59 ... and one very big Yes that led to a three book deal with Berkley/Penguin US.
